So today I did more research on jobs in New York. My friend Scott told me about NYFA and that is helping a lot so I wrote a lot of cover letters for all the places that sound interesting… however I’m super picky… even though I have no reason to be. This one job sounded cool so I looked them up and they made SHIT images … They weren’t even retouching stuff… so yeah. High expectations here… hopefully that works out in my favor.
I went on a walk with Zoe our 12 year old/ 84 in dog years labrador retriever. Apparently she has been getting sick and I think she is going blind… but she walked down our mile long driveway and went swimming today when we went to get le post…. so idk… she did run into a tree… meh she still rules.Then I went to go “work” with Kathleen and Ellen. I did some layouts for Kathleen’s photo shoot we are doing while Kathleen practiced her piano SKILLZ. (one of our best friends is getting married… Kath is playing the piano and I’m the photographer) Ellen made some buttons and I want them…
Kathleen made some minor adjustments and gave a rather well know song her own lyrics after fucking up a few times and Ellen sang them for us… in the video belowwwww. oh man. other things happened as well… :)
Freaking Maurice Sendak died today my friend from NYC told me that this morning. :(
SO I was lazy again today. I didn’t get out of bed till like 10:00am or something. I’m going to soak up this not having to do anything business for another day I think.
I pretty much finished unpacking.
- My RayBans are gone. I didn’t even have them for a week. FML
- I found a lot of change…. weird.
- I own 7 moleskine journals… oh make that 8 I just purchased a HUGE one that I’m in love with.
- I feel like a pharmacist I have SO MANY PENS!

I took a shower and got ready to drive to town (had to deposit a check and stuff) and I checked the mail before I went to town.
Hello magical extra $15.00
So I went to the bank and did my depositing of monies which I know will eventually buy me a new pair of shoes or more black american apparel shoes before it pays my future NYC rent but IDGAF. There was a sad crazy man at the bank who had a dollar in his bank account and he lived with his mom and dad…. and he applied to the Wal-Mart DC and he was “GOING TO GO TALK TO SOMEONE TODAY BECAUSE HE LIKES TO WORK”. The teller (who I went to high school with) looked like he wanted to die. I got the hell out of dodge and drove back home.
and then this was in front of me for like 5 miles going 10mph…this photo makes it look like I live in the south America or I’m on that show about truck drivers who drive those crazy dangerous roads…. in the winter this road could be on Ice Road Truckers because its effing stupid.
Anyway that all happend and I got home and lived and it was exciting. THEN.

I have never been so happy about something so stupid. (well lately) SO I retweeted that beautiful mess and followed @PoorHelen (even the @name is amazing)

It needs to be redesigned- attempted to watch youtube videos but our internet is only capable of nothing like that at all.
- sent off a resume + cover letter PDF to NYC
(HIRE ME FOR THINGS)- looked at my calendar and put things on it… like the wedding I’m shooting Saturday. LOLz almost forgot about that.
- I tried to get my free print from MPIX but this code is being sketch so that didn’t happen
Yeah I just chatted with humans via iMac + iPhone but my day was chill. I really want to be in NYC like…. now. I think I should start deciding what clothes get to make the trip because lets be honest thats all that matters… photo equipment too I guess.
